Note
Presentation variant with a war decoration without swords. The order of Habsburg was the direct successor of the Napoleonian Order of the Iron Crown founded by Napoleon I. After the battle at Waterloo in 1815 Austria took over the reign over Lombardy-Venice in the North of Italy and its Emperor Francis I renewed on 1st January 1816 The Order of the Iron Crown. Until 1884 the members of the Order were raised into nobility as well and the first class of this order was connected with the title of a secret counsellor and the excellency, the second class of this order meant the right to the title of a baron and the third class made it possible to be raised a knight.
